About the Developer
Ethan Halfhide is a founder based in Richmond, Virginia, with about a decade of experience building software businesses. He is CEO of RevStreem, a growth firm that helps B2B companies get found in AI assistants and search through answer engine optimization, SEO, and paid ads. Before that, he founded Lean Discovery Group, which was acquired by RapidDev in 2025, and went on to lead Ambitious Labs, the #1 Vibe Code Accelerator in the world.
He built Citeproof because more people now write with AI, and made-up or mis-cited sources are one of the most common complaints about it.
